In 2007, the city of Caruaru, in the interior of Pernambuco, celebrated its 150 years. To mark its sesquicentennial, it has built an Obelisk honoring the city, in front of City Hall. Jobson chose the popular features of Caruaru, their types and most representative figures and produced in bronze three straps around the Obelisk. The Obelisk body is made up of large stones of granite, ubatuba green.
