The Brum Station

Built between 1875 and 1880 the Brum Station received the locomotives of Recife-Limoeiro-Timbaúba route. In 1997 the building was severely damaged and unused. Thanks to the architectural project of José Luiz Mota Menezes and Hélio Moreira in 1999 the station had its doors open again, but with a new feature, of the Memorial Justice of Pernambuco.

The project includes a mezzanine entirely in modular iron structure, adorned with guard rails and handrails also in iron and with carved in bronze details. The iron structures imported from Europe, gates, balconies, props, boards and coats bronze had its restoration and execution made by Atelier Jobson Figueiredo.
